Hated to miss this one but I decided to do 2 of 3 bristol events because of the long drive. Unfortunately I have to miss the chillhowee event also since it's my anniversary and the wife said no racing that weekend. So see you guys in a couple months at SEDIV

Everybody needs to plan ahead to be there in August!

Of course if there had been more entries, we wouldn't have finished by 1PM, but I take your meaning. Starting early was probably not an option because of the standing water.

More people would also have gotten us closer to breaking even on the event.

We did start an hour earlier and first car off was at 10 but we couldn't start any earlier than 10.

If we hadn't started early, I probably would have gone.

In the summer hot months I like a 10 am start time and most all drivers have been there by 9:30 as registration closes pretty close to that time and no reason not to start earlier as it gives more runs and the event usually is over quicker.

Until I came to ETR I'd never started later than 10 am. This event was much more to my liking, though getting another dry run or two would have been great. National events start at 8 or 9 and they're sorta popular.

If I were in my car or it wasn't raining, I would have came, but...

Going to autocross someone else's car in the rain on 2 hours sleep isn't that appealing to me.

I've had the same experience. While I am no morning person, getting cars running by 9:30 or 10am is nice even if it does mean I have my 2 hour drive to pellissippi early in the morning.

I thought this event went off pretty good considering. Commitments were made to set up Saturday night ....thank you....jobs got done that needed to get done early Sunday morning Tech and Registration opened at 6:30AM. Two run groups 5 runs each that took 13 to 15 minutes each...wireless timing is a blessing. Like the match tour course was fun.... not having a DNF in almost a year had 2 right out of the gate....missed the finish and forgot to backup and run through the gate for timing Coatney had to trip the light for me  . Then was asked in grid if I wanted someone to ride along with me too show me the way

Great job to all involved! Great course, and a fast event. It is a long drive for me but well worth it. Thanks to JY and Jim for marking tires for me. I will try to get some more CAM guys to show!

The finish was tough to see, IMO... I didn't DNF but I didn't see it until the last minute on my first run.

I missed the finish gate once, but managed to trip the light without hitting it and didn't get called. I didn't realize it wasn't called until I saw the results posted.

Hey Paul, as far as the asking if you needed a ride, we where told to ask you and I believe there is a rule about 2 consecutive DNF's (we didn't know where you missed)... sorry bout that.
