$249, but they're both the same thing. You just get more of a discount if you grab the $249 option before it runs out.

10 Hz GPS. That's good, right?

It's not bad. There is better available now, but 10 is fine. Most phones are 5 or less.

Re: Waylens Camera
My phone-app lap timer uses the 1hz GPS in the device, but does a pretty good job extrapolating/interpolating and is usually accurate to within a tenth (when compared with transponder time). good enough for track, not good enough for AX. 10hz with good interpolation/extrapolation should be more than sufficient.
Re: Waylens Camera
Hey, my Kickstarter early bird special arrived last week. I finally had a chance to play with it some last night/this morning.
There are a few little firmware bugs they need to work out, but nothing serious. Check out my test video below. The little camera shutter noise you hear is me clicking the wireless button to "highlight" a section of the video as the camera generally runs on a recording loop all the time (unless you stop it). It's basically just a marker. The data comes from the accelerometer & 10k GPS in the camera and a bluetooth ODB transmitter. You can feel free to ignore the podcast I was listening to.

Re: Waylens Camera
That looks pretty good. Do you have any video of it on more rough surface? I find that most other "action cameras" have a hard time with keeping the picture steady and post processing the shake out of the video always gives a very "floaty" effect.

We'll, I'm not gonna go farming in the daily driver today..... but we'll find out about Autocross on Sunday

Re: Waylens Camera
I guess I should clarify that I don't plan to go farming at the autocross either, but we'll see how the camera handles bumps.
