I'm not sure how this whole deal works yet since I haven't been to one in a couple of years. I have an email in to the guy at Harper's that organizes it.

Last year had over 2000 cars and 5000 spectators.... should we plan on getting there before 7:30....I suggest we meet outside the Mall area at Texas Roadhouse across from the mall and all go in as a group?

I'm thinking of going and bringing the kids... is this a bad idea? Where does one park? Is it a complete cluster or can I get in and out reasonably?

You can get in and out fairly easy Dave.

If you want to be in the thick of it, you definitely want to get there before 7.

The last time we went as a group and took the van and several cars, I think I got there at 6:45. The guy at Harper worked with us to get us several spots.

I just got an email back from the guy at Harper's. We do need to be there no later than 7 if we want to be together. He said based on the response he has had, this will be the biggest one yet. I agree we should meet and roll in together. Texas Roadhouse area sounds good since everyone should know where that is. I will update the original post.

I will be at Texas Roadhouse on Morrell Road across from the Mall between 6:30 and 6:45AM Sunday. I'm only going to help promote the club not planning on walking around so I can man the location and keep an eye on our stuff.

I spoke with Bill Johnson as he was passing thru the shop earlier. He recommended arriving before 7AM in order to be able to park together without issue. He also suggested parking over on the Dillard's/west side of the building, as it won't fill up as quickly. He did mention that his agreement with the Mall stipulates that we can't give out or sell anything of value, which I'm sure won't be an issue.

If you park on the perimeter and just do a walk through or hang out, it is just kinda like going to the mall at Christmas.

Cool! We can sell the flyers since they are of no value! [emoji23]
