champ/match debrief

Post by jcox07 »

I would like to thank all those that really stepped up and helped make this double event a huge success. We ran over 1300 runs in one day and at solo nationals in Lincoln they only run 1000 runs per course. Etr we rocked the match tour and champ tour. I would like to personally thank Chris Harp for all his work on champ course and the map overlays that he did was simply awesome and the scca staff said they had never seen course maps with so much detail. Also thank all who worked in the heat on the waivers table and in tech. Also big thanks to the wife's of all the racers who helped prepare the food and work the waiver table as well and to O'Reilly auto parts who helped with and cook the welcome party food. Thanks thanks thanks to all , I truly have a great etr family and love all of you. JY

Man, I hope you have a day off today to catch up on sleep. And to just sit down for awhile! This was a truly spectacular weekend and the amount of work done by lots of folks really paid off with a bunch of happy autocrossers. Great job to all.

Hate that I had to miss it. It looked like a great time. Hopefully we'll have it again next year and I can come help and run.

Probably won't have a double next year unless they scca folks want to but in 2019-2022 we should be able to.

I would also like to give a huge thank you to our own Jim Thomas and O'Reilly auto parts for helping cook and taking care of the welcome party and the match tour awards food. This was a huge success as everyone was talking about the event and food being fresh and hot. ETR is very thankful to Jim and O'Reilly auto parts for all their help. Please support O'Reilly auto to parts with every opportunity for your parts needs.
