Help Classing

Post by AMPierson »

Ford Fiesta ST 2014 (FWD)
Mods: Cold Air Intake, Larger intercooler, Downpipe, Coil-over Suspension, Sway-bar added, Stage 3 COBB tune
Wheels 16x6
Tires -- 215x50 R16 Federal RSR compounds

Could someone advise if I would qualify to run ST class if I were not running the R-compound tires? I'm a bit unsure given all the modifications to the car. Then with that determined, which of the ST sub-classes would be correct to choose? I'm thinking STX or STU and believe it depends on how wide a street tire I go with and/or if I utilize wheel spacers or not. This gets a bit confusing so I wanted to put it out there for some guidance from the group. Thanks in advance for your responses.

ST doesn't allow the turbo mods. You are more than welcome to come run pur local STM class. It's basically run what you brung as long as your tires are 140tw or higher.

To specify, the non-oem intercooler is not allowed in STX or other ST* classes. Your intake and down-pipe are allowed.
