After a great weekend of racing the drag cross was a success even if it didn't sell out we still managed to give full payout to all places and for all those that said we would have a lot of people to break out on the 1.5 second rule, as I said no one would and no one did. So all those that didn't come because of that , you missed a chance at a big payout.

I think the decision to go to 3 dial-in runs instead of 2 was a wise one.

Confessions of a skeptic. I was skeptical of the format for the Dragcross based on reading the rules but I was wrong. I signed up just to help make the field and wound up having a great time and walking away with some money.

JY you were wright. "After a great weekend of racing the drag cross was a success even if it didn't sell out we still managed to give full payout to all places and for all those that said we would have a lot of people to break out on the 1.5 second rule, as I said no one would and no one did. I do think that the going to 3 runs to set dial in helped some of who need a little time to get the course figured out. When you run the next one would suggest you keep the 3 runs for dial in even if you go to 2 runs for qualification.

Indy had all the results in a spreadsheet and said they would send them to us.

Will have to see what next year holds. I do know the format snd rules are likely to be a little different next year but the fun factor should stay the same, if not better. We will know more early next year after the SEDiv meeting. If anyone has in car video from the event, send me a link.

Unfortunately the microphone didn't work, but here's the final eliminations. This was a super fun format and heard nothing but great things from everyone at the event. Personally I think it would add to the event if the Reaction Time was calculated into the run.

I signed up for this event just to get the participation numbers up and had no expectation of making it past the qualifying rounds.
