I'm surprised by how much lateral movement the upper control arm has. It's understandable now why the front edge of mine rubbed that metal lip.
On a separate note, what do you think of the responsiveness of our steering? Everyone who has jumped in my car has said how slow it is and I never noticed it till this weekend. What setting do you have your steering set at? I've always run it in sport but may try one of the others to see if that helps.
Its slow. I have not tried any other settings neither..
Main thing is to cut our Castor as much as we can.. Ill do that when I replace those soft bushings

Well then I really screwed mine up....lol. I put as much caster in as I could to get more camber in the corners. Didn't think about the trade off for steering response.
Those are pillow ball joints up top so it can rotate and not bind. Zero slack up top I'd think

Let me know the bushings you replace it with. I can only imagine what mine looked like on the Hoosiers

If you guys can get dimensions or even spare arms, I know a guy that does delrin bushings. Currently for lots of miatas, but he's done other chassis's too. He's helped me with my MR-S rear hub onto Miata project too - http://sadfab.com/
