Regional 9 after action

Post by thrdeye »

I have a bajillion pics that are uploading to facebook. I'll link it here when they finish. Half of them are people taking out that outside finish cone.

I didn't drive today....don't think I could have anyway after that brewfest yesterday.

Here's a link to yesterday's pics (all of them):

Great day of weather! 99% of the drivers had a great day I believe..
Seemed like for the most part, the course worked out fine. I was leary of crossing the racing line to stage.. but it worked out ok.

Yeah Chris, that was part of the reason we didn't go to the brewfest. I had to stay in good condition to race with points on the line.

Overall a great day. I couldn't quite find the 39s, but the 40.1 on my 2nd run felt great. I'll try to get a video up in the next couple days. Its a bit of a pain to put the video together, my computer doesn't like the 4k from the Hero6.

Great job everyone! We had a few hiccups but still completed runs around 3 and 6 rums for almost 100 drivers. Awesome!

Thanks for the pics, Chris!

Wait, when did we start providing rum? Why did this start on a event I missed?

That course was about as fun as you can make it on that lot. If they'd just remove all the islands it'd be a solid local site. I had nothing for Cory on that course, but I think I locked up Pro for the year... unless I did the maths wrong, which is a distinct possibility.

Congrats on the season! With a win at the last event I think I'll still be 1.53 points short. Shoulda made it down to the earlier smokies events.

Great event, I really enjoyed the National Anthem service. Would like to see it added to every event even if its the flag and a recording. Great job ETR

Been close racing with ya man, it's been fun! I'd bet that you'll be pretty much untouchable at Smokies most of the time - I feel like most courses will be almost perfect for 2nd gear in that MSM. If we had a slalom or two you would've gapped us by a second.

Not sure where the STS points are but Cameron has busted my ass each time he has been out. I do not have anything for a 1.8 to my 1.6. The NB in this class makes it a winner v/s to a 1.6.NA. Too bad, we had a long delay before our last runs! sorta took all the whatever out of us. But it was a fun event filled day! Glad close to home.

Same. Those girls did a fantastic job! I wanted to thank them before they left, but I didn't see them again.
