now Randy.. you know I was being extremely sarcastic... I know just like you... these big heavy cars will never achieve the pax they currently have.. let alone besting them.Miata22 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 18, 2018 10:25 pmI think physics get in the way. Possible tire grip plus weight of 3000+ lbs cars seem to find limits. I know of about a dozen boogieman cars being built for next year. Can’t wait to see if they can really make gains.John Brown wrote: ↑Fri Nov 16, 2018 5:32 pm Im still very disappointed that none of CAM made it to the high 9s.. I mean given the possibilities ... Rawing B-Mod is bound to happen this year!!
I do think pax is somewhat accurate.. but only in classes that are even close to legitimately programmed. Basing a pax on "WHAT IF" is total BS.
I see pax if done correctly .. to work like weight penalty in road racing.. you would always see a different mix of cars in the top 3%. But, we dont. We always have the same Fn group of cars in the top percentages. Which only means that the numbers can not possibly be adjusted correctly.
