Close out 2019 events
Close out 2019 events
We have our last 2 events coming up with the smokies stadium event Aug. 17th a Saturday and event 10 at BMS on Sept. 22nd to close out the year. Get signed up for these last 2 ETR points events and then it is on to the year end banquet with info coming soon on that as well. For event 10 at BMS, what kind of course do you all want or is there one that you would like another shot at from a previous course as it will be the last one for the year? JY

Re: Close out 2019 events
I would like a replay of the July 21st event, since it rained on the 1st run group, killed most of their times and put me in the trailer.......

Re: Close out 2019 events
Since you asked
I'd like to see some transitional elements that require changes in speed while maintaining momentum and if they can also incorporate some kind of risk/reward mechanism, that would be great.
Other than that, no skidpads, and no pin cones or minimum radius sweepers/turnarounds.

Re: Close out 2019 events
I don't want to run the same course as an event, but the test & tune course was probably the most rewarding ETR course I've driven this year.

I like the TnT course but I might be a little biased. [emoji16]
We could do that and do something different at the start to the fence. We would probably want Brian's GPS.
On the other hand, that might give an advantage to people that have run the TnT previously and with points on the line, that might not be best.

Sounding more like a Copygate instead of a Clonegate. Best not to incite riots

Re: Close out 2019 events
The big sweepy offsets at the start are something that you see a lot at other events, but don't necessarily see at our typical event. And probably as technical as it gets, as you cannot overdrive them. Sweepers and slaloms are pretty straight forward. The people that can drive big offsets precisely at the limit are the people that win championships.MARKP wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 9:58 am I like the TnT course but I might be a little biased.
