Yup. I have zero track experience and I would much rather risk bending a $3k Focus than a Corvette that I have wanted since they are new. Once I have more experience, I might take the 'vette.
I completely understand, just giving ya shit  I know all too well how bad it sucks putting your fun street car into a fuggin concrete wall.

Bumping this back up. Registration opens today at 1pm. I haven't seen anything about a cap for it but I'm going to try and register when it opens. Looks like it'll be thru the SCCA page. And also looks like they tweaked the schedule a bit and added some stuff Thursday like open lapping sessions and coaching. With actual competition runs beginning Friday afternoon.

So looks like 92 entries in the first 4 hours. Sandbox post said 200 is the cap so if anyone is thinking about it might want to get in soon. Also might want to book your hotel room soon, apparently there's another big event in Bowling Green that weekend too.

Oh and I need some competition in P1. I know someone out there wants to come whoop up on me.

I'm in. Not sure if or how much of Thursday I'll try to drive but I'm stoked. I had such a blast at CMP earlier this year.

That just means you averted blowing it up out on track. You're good to go now! [emoji38]

Fast time and good lines from Jimmy here: https://youtu.be/qYJtDMs6Ugc

Much slower pace, but more time to look at the marks?! : https://youtu.be/uWqzme4VHSg

I'd like to back soon with less weight and aero.

Looks like there's only 23 spots left open for anyone considering this.

With the addition of test time Thursday this looks to be a ton of seat time for the price.
