2020 ETR Nationals Paddock

Post by jcox07 »

We will be on row 3 at the top near the runway in the same place as last year. We do have a 30x30 tent at this time but the tents may get canceled and the club refunded the 1000.00 dollars for the tent rental, we will know more on the tent by next weekend. I have a grill/griddle that I am taking out to nationals and if you want to grill, you are welcome to use it just bring what you want to grill or buy it out there in Lincoln . There is no Nebraska football games on either Saturday while we are there for the pro finale and the solo nats so if you want to eat out I think you will be able to do so. Please post up that you are paddocking with etr if you are going to and I will have my big grizzly cooler for all to put their drinks in for the time you are there. Thanks JY

Yep should be there. We're staying off site this year. No camping.

If I go, I'll definitely paddock with ETR again. Probably don't need the tent - I'll bring my EZ up.

if the event happens. I'll be there.....but we will be socially distant....especially of daddy comes.

Won't be eating with groups or hanging out on site while we aren't running.

Its going to be a really odd year.

Yeah, be a really odd year for sure. This was the "off year" anyway for me but still bummed I'm not going. Even with the craziness going on it's still a great time.

Be safe everyone!

If the big tent doesn't happen, several of us could bring canopies and tie them down and together.

Please remove my name from the list. Work won't guarantee I'll get paid when I return if I go and I can't risk that.

The rules posted tonight state Paddock Gatherings are limited to no more than 12 and that the group tents will not be available.

Im still going.....but its going to be very different.

I'll try to watch and support and follow the results of everyone in the club and can help with tires and whatnot for the pro, but not trying to paddock in a group.

You can still have a spot where etr is as I don't know that we will ever get 12 together at one time.

Keep me on there for now. I'm not really worried about covid problems. GS is still above 30 and has some great drivers in there, so it's a solid class. I just don't know if I have it in me to drive 15 hours for this event at this point.

Chris, I hope you do as you are right, G street has a big class and some heavy hitters and I think it is your year to win the jacket at nationals as you are driving extremely well.

I will have my canopy as well if they don't allow the big one.
