What's everyone running in Street classes? Better yet, any recommendations for a nose-heavy pig of a car?

Re: 2023 tires
Falkens on the front and I have both Falkens and Nankang CR-1 for the rear. Lots of folks have had success with the Yokes and Nankangs on the rear.
Re: 2023 tires
I plan to be on Yokohamas again.
If I were you, I'd probably do the Falkens. On all 4 corners. No reason to complicate things on a square setup that you can rotat when the goal is to have fun at local events.

i just want something in the competitive area. The hankooks were a fine street tire, but weren't even close to competitive.

Re: 2023 tires
Have they fixed the delamination issues with those tires? Or was that track specific situations?

Re: 2023 tires
I ran the RT 660's. They have been really good, I had some drop off the last event I ran as far as grip but probably because I daily drove them for a few weeks because they were just really fun to drive around town. I had some tire graining early in the season that was not a problem after an alignment and after the temperature was warmer. So with the 8 events I did and with daily driving them between event 9 and 11 they still have some tread depth left and possibly some grip left. I plan to run the RT660's again this year and my car is fairly heavy and camber challenged in the street class.

Re: 2023 tires
I picked up a ND2 miata over the winter and already bought a set of RT660's. I was planning on going with RE-71R/RE-71RS, but I can buy 5-6 RT660s for the price of 4 RE-71's. I've never used RT660's before but I've heard good things about them. There's a good comparison chart on Grassroots Motorsports that might be useful for you: https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/artic ... yers-guide

Re: 2023 tires
I don't think I ever got the RT660's turned on last year. So I'm going with the Yokohama's this year. And I'm going with a 295 width on 18 inch rims rather than 315's on a 19 inch rim that I ran last year. I should have run 305's, but I don't think it would have helped that much.
