Huntsville Divisional

Post by rocracing2001 »

The divisional event will be here before you know it and I would have to say after running this weekend this event is one that I would not miss. The site is great and they can lock the site up so you don't have to worry about your cars. The site is one that we would kill for. It makes every site we have look real small. The asphalt is smooth and the course was one of the best I have ever run. The guys that ran the event we first class.

I would love to see them have a test and tune sometime this year to help set the new car up. This site reminds me of Atlanta Motor Speedway. They are going to have a event there on June 4th so check there website out.

PS: If you should go please read the directions before you make the trip and don't go by the pictures off the internet....

Good luck with that Chris.

I will be there and I need them to put on another divisional so that I can be eligible.

Hey you were not complaining after we asked for directions!

By the way this site is great. You will bit find a better place to autocross this close to home.

No, Stu is still driving my car, no problem. But with a 3rd and a 4th place finish, it would be hard for him to get the points to win.

I should be going. Heard a rumor the pavement is similar to the new assfault out in topeka. I have first in SM points if Tommy doesn't show up, second if he does. If stompy breaks, I had nothing to do with it.

Thanks Robert,

The pleasure was all ours having you there. I'm still amazed that you and Mark can make that Miata go so fast.

The next event is a Saturday, June 3rd not the 4th. It is a SCCA event so there is a $5 discount for members to only $25. For us, this is a dress rehersal for the Divisional. We want to make everything go smoothly.

I am registered at the Comfort Inn University 256-533-3291 at 3788 University Drive. $94.40 for two nights plus tax. This is with the SCCA discount. Need code from the SCCA web page.
