MR-2s in backyards

Post by awdbandito »

Hey everyone, I know I find a lot of my MR2s in random places, and would like to put the word out.

If anyone has seen any first generation mr2s in yards or behind garages, etc.....could they please let me know the location. I'm not beyond knocking on doors, leaving notes etc. I really don't care about condition, so if anyone knows of an MR2 sitting around somewhere, let me know.

Thanks,

J.D.

I actually have a lead on one, friend of a friend. I've kept in under my hat as I know there is a demand for them from time to time. Shoot me a PM with contact info and I'll make sure it's still around and get some specifics for you. Seems like I remember him saying it was some sort of limited edition, or something. Ony 800ish of them made, but I don't know much about MR2s.

that means it's worth less.. parts are harder to find. That super charge thingy will cause the motor to break real quick costing bunch to fix. geezz, give the poor guy $100 and we'll take that money pit off his hands cause we're glutons for punishment

:P

There's an early model silver sitting at used car lot between Lenoir City and Loudon. It is pushed back into the weeds which means it is just right for acquisition. Avery and I can go by and bomb the thing and then you can try to pick it up for .01 on the dollar.

I can get one for you as long as you don't ask where it came from.

Napalm is easy. Too easy. Now Thermite... that's where it's at. Mostly Aluminium and Iron Oxide. In fact, I think the Chem lab has... oh. NSA. Right-o. I mean, BAD AVERY!

Y'all took me a little bit too literally here(back pedalling here before I get accused of fostering some right wing terroristic activity)
I didnt mean "bomb" the poor little thing( what good would it be to JD if you did that); I just meant that Avery and I could go by and soften them up a little by telling them all the things that were wrong with the car and then JD could come by later and be the savoir offering .50 on the $. It worked many times for Stan, Lee and I. No comment on which strategy is ethical. YMMV
