UPDATE - I have to miss ETR Regional #3

Post by LeadSSled »

The Bad news: Unfortunately, I will have to miss the race at Oak Ridge this Sunday. I was really looking forward to it too.

The Good News: The reason I have to miss it is because we now have a contract on a new (for us) house. The house has a 34' X 40' 3-car garage with 9-foot wide doors, plus another 6-foot wide door with a 10' X 34' bay for lawn & garden stuff. Now I'll have lots of room to wrench on the car, but reduced funds for the disease. :) We need to meet with the Homeowner's Association to get approval to make the improvements to the house that we need to do before moving in. The Association is meeting at 3:00 PM on Sunday, so that kills my Solo 2 plans.

I should be able to make the next one, though. And hopefully the SSled will have new shoes on by then. The 400-treadwear BFG KDWS all-seasons are getting replaced by Kuhmo MX skins. :D

All you need now is a mini-fridge. Heck, with a garage that size, a full size fridge and bar. For after the work is done, of course. :D

My conflict for Sunday has been resolved - the homeowner's association meeting has been postponed. Looks like I'll be able to make it on Sunday after all. See everyone there!
