Thanks to David Disney and David Hester

David D. took the responsibility to chair yesterday's OR event at the last minute and despite forgetting to order dry weather, he ran a great event. Very good course and everything got done.

Thanks

Oh, and I think we owe David Hester a free entry to one of our future events for running a safety stewards class. Thanks David H.

:D

Thanks Dave, It was a good event considering the weather.

I think this was the first time that I didn't want the extra runs  since I had first place locked up till the last two runs in the drier conditions. Ah well there's always next time. :D

Yeah thaks Daves! Scott, Dave Hester will be taken care of. We were going to give him yesterday's event for free, but I offered to give him a rain check for a future event.

congrats to did well and congrats to the first timers that toughed out difficult weather circumstances. if you came out of yesterday wanting more, you've probably got a new hobby.

all in all, it was a good event. i learned a few things about myself:

1) i don't like autocrossing in the rain.
2) carrying extra shoes and socks wouldn't be a bad idea
3) if i want to become a better driver, i need to work on the mental aspects. i lost focus and concentration pretty easily yesterday.

Thanks for the event. I thought that the course was great for the rain.

Oooooh yeah.....Gotta love the rain when you drive all wheel drive. Just drive it like it's dry out. :D
