David D. took the responsibility to chair yesterday's OR event at the last minute and despite forgetting to order dry weather, he ran a great event. Very good course and everything got done.

congrats to did well and congrats to the first timers that toughed out difficult weather circumstances. if you came out of yesterday wanting more, you've probably got a new hobby.
all in all, it was a good event. i learned a few things about myself:
1) i don't like autocrossing in the rain.
2) carrying extra shoes and socks wouldn't be a bad idea
3) if i want to become a better driver, i need to work on the mental aspects. i lost focus and concentration pretty easily yesterday.

Man, I had a great time yesterday despite the cold and rain. Thanks to everyone who ran the event. And thanks to the school, I definately noticed some better driving on my part..........whew!
