If you like cats, you would probably like a ferret. To me, ferrets are more fun than cats because they will actually play with you, but I'm a dog person. I haven't been able to convince the wife that the cat needs to go.

Seriously though, I don't need a ferret, but I had a roommate that had one, and they're great pets! (I already have a dog, a cat, a pig, and three goldfish)

While I have several Scirocco's that he would enjoy, the 5 Australian shepards, 1 Boxer, and 1 Terrier something or other, have a tendancy to eat furry woodland creatures and bring back parts as trophies. Playing possum is a BAD idea in this yard.

Dana, on the other hand has a deal for you. She is willing to trade 4 plus (more on the way, not sure how many yet) Siamese kittens for your 1 Ferret and cage. You are getting more p.. uuh.. cat for your furry little ferret. Think how much further ahead you would be with this trade
