it took long enough ...

Post by dfsmith »

After countless threats and beatings, I finally convinced my brother to register and compete in a local autocross. He'll be co-driving the Mazder with me, rather than thrash his 911 this time (that comes later, with tires). Oak Ridge will be his first-ever regional event and one of his first autocrosses, though he has competed in a couple of Mazda Rev-it-up events. So, Mark (both of y'all, Pilson and McCrary), we may get you to ride a time or two to throw some advice his way and get rid of any bad habits he's learned from me.

It'll really suck if he beats me in my own car. :?

Were you not paying attention at the meeting when messing with tire pressures was discussed? Or maybe it was the guys that were discussing messing with the tire pressures that were not paying attention.

Or possibly some combination of the two. :D
Yeah, I remember the discussion. Now let's hope he doesn't browse the forums.

.... with no helmet on.

As a safety steward I do not condone such behavior.

I will be more that happy to ride with him and he is welcome to ride a run with me. If he is running fast I will flare my arms out the window. I might have someone beat me in my own car as well. I will get on the radio and yell RED FLAG, RED FLAG if Curt gets close to me.
