I thought about trying to meet y'all in the morning, but I have had my arm "twisted" into going to this business, so I am going to have to miss an event for the first time this season.

If I take any, I will have some pictures posted the following week.

I plan to caravan up there. Any of the caravan members plan on arriving at McDonald's a little early to eat before the "train" leaves?

Anyone planning on going up that will not be swapping out tires?

I might be up for a later caravan if anyone else is up for one. All I will need to do once I get there is take out the floor mats, so I'm up for a later departure time.

I should also note I'm not 100% sure I'm going yet b/c I'll be in Atlanta for a wedding the day before. However, I'm just getting an idea if anyone wants to meet up and head out later than 6:30am.

Here is the schedule for Bristol

I am somewhat flexible on the registration check in times, but the chair of this event is near Bristol, so we will definitely be getting started earlier than prior BMS events
# We highly recommend you arrive around 8:00 a.m.
# The course should be set up so you can walk it around 9:00 a.m.
# If you register online, you have until 10:00 a.m. to check in with Registration
# If you register on-site, you should do so by 9:00 a.m.. If you register after that time, you will be charged a $15 late fee.
# No registrations or check-ins will be accepted after 10:00 a.m.. Tech will also close at 10:00 a.m..
# If you have not registered and been tech'd by 10:00 a.m., you will not be able to run the event, No Exceptions.
# Mandatory driver's meeting at 10:30 a.m. sharp.
# First Car Off at 11:00 a.m..

Well my chances of racing on Sunday are even more slim now b/c the ppl I'm going to the wedding with on Friday in Atlanta want to go to the Braves game Saturday night at 7pm. Even if we were to leave right after the game, I'm getting to Knoxville no earlier than 2:30-3am. I might skip the game, but to be honest, I wouldn't mind going since I'm already down there. We'll see what develops in the next few days.

Next Bristol event I'm going to head up on Saturday, do the Virginia Creeper that afternoon, get a room (and a good night sleep), and then race on Sunday.

On a side note, I hope to meet a guy Saturday morning in Atlanta to get a hitch for the SS. Tire trailer soon maybe??
