Me too, but there's a TON more work involved in making them fit right.
3 simple steps.

1. Buy a gun, buy bullets
2. Knock over a bank
3. buy a widebody kit

done! 275's! :D

275/35-15 will fit easy on a miata and really cheaply too with a saws all and big friggen hammer. It's a race car, get over it looking "right" Wide body kits just add weight your competition loves you to have.

255/40-13 has a tread width of 9.5 inches. you want a rim within 1/2 inch of the tread width of the tire. I personly would go with a 9.5" rim. will keep the car 1" more narrow than 10" rims. 275/35-15 will still put more rubber on the ground with it's 10.1" tread width and larger circumfrence. That might screw you on colder days. The bigest question to decide between the 2 tires is what is best for your gearing.

13x9 is max for 225/45-13 and min for 255/40-13

by widebody kit I meant saw the fenders off and throw on some aluminum fender flares

you would have a hard time getting all of the benefit out of the 275's on a N/A miata wouldnt ya? seems like it would almost be overkill for 110 whp but more than worth the $$ for a boosted Miata like D.Disney's.

not if u dont care about ur fenders :-D lol, pulled 1/2" front 1/4"~1/2" rear and flat rolled with -2.5° camber front and -2.0° rear and should only have problems at full lock, so says emilio. emilio also had plans of a 15x10 but didnt have enough ppl pre-order :-\

could be like this baller:

16x9 1/2s CCWs with 245 t1r's. tbh i'd roll around on some 15x9 6uls with 275 a6s :-D

Marcus, if you have a proper set of man-vegetables you will opt for 15x9.5 or 15x10's and run 275/35-15 A6's....if you dont have a proper set you'll opt for forced induction and street tires.

Most of the guys running 275's in CSP are putting down a little more than that in cars that are weighing in just under 2k lb. They're makin' it work.
