Guffey would know more about the set up on a Miata than I would. What settings do you run your shocks at? Chris was saying today to run them full stiff on all 4 corners and possibly just a little bit softer in the rear.

Yeah KYBs don't really go that stiff, so pretty much crank em down, and ease off the rear a little if you want.

I'd go full stiff in the rear and a little less in the front. This will help keep you off the bump stops in the rear while providing plenty of grip in the front. Transitional stability will be improved and you can drive sweepers with the throttle pretty easily.

i always take experienced autoxers advice especially when theyre in a a miata also. i usually run them at 8 front and 5 rear, i asked wayne at the pelli event and he said 6 and 2 because of the rough spots and pavement change and partly because im a nub haha. ive got the FM rear shock mounts to help me keep off the rear bumpstops. ill try diff setups sunday, see how they do.

Looks like the rain is going to hold off until Sunday night and they lowered the rain chance to 20%.

I think me padre and I are taking one of the single cab Rouse trucks so your most comfortable bet would be with Luttrell in the Yada, lest you wana be in the turkey in a Cathers sandwhich. Marcus will give you a lift though no doubt.

Sounds good to me. Just let me know where you are leaving from and the time. If I drove me car out there I would probably just run it.

Hey Steve are you going by chance. If so I might just catch a ride with you since you live so close to me.

That's the plan. I can come by and pick you up Sunday morning. Just give me a call some time tomorrow evening or I'll give you a call...

I want to talk about the Civic idea anyway. :)

Cool, that will be easier for me.

Marcus, am I driving the miata for sure? Just making sure I don't get out there and not have a car to drive. :D

yeap, ull be co-driving the miata for sure, unless of course u get a better offer haha.

this is a nub question, but im a nub so whatever, i suppose we'll sign-in as a 2 driver car once we get there since theres not a pre-reg.

the miata will be there unless something happens......... knock on wood. i just found out i got shafted on hp+ pads from summitracing, had no clue they were special order and took a month to deliver from the manufacture lol. who needs braking anyway!

Yeah, you have to sign up there. We will sign up as a 2 driver car in regular ole STS2. Don't sign up in Novice class as it seems as though it is a pain to get out of it up there. Unless you really want to run Novice that is. Problem with that is you might end up running a different time than me and I am guessing you would really want to ride with me.
