high weight/zero torque come to mind first....

torque, you just have to rev it to 4k rpms to find it. And like Steve said, the gearing doesn't make that real easy. A regular Zetec Focus feels faster below 4k rpms.

I drag raced Hubbards Focus a few years ago against a new SVT..and his car smoked the SVT in the 1/8 mile

One of the tires is nearly done, and I'm not sure I want to spend the money to pursue ST in the Focus. The 89 Honda Civics pretty much have a lock on that. My car is likely, if it's not decided already, moving to HS next year. My car is only a power mod or two and a set of 17x7's with race tires away from being stock legal. So, I think I might give that a shot.

Whew, had to look at the classification chart! Scared me for a second. I saw in fasTrac where they re-affirmed the non-S 02 and up MINI to be properly placed in HS. I know that they could not compete in GS...

Anyway, I will be there and I can serve in whatever capacity is needed.

We are talking soft, no camber, open diff front drivers. I'm not sure how much torque you need. On most courses, I'm convinced that I'd be faster in a 2.0 Mazda 3 instead of my 2.3 liter, especially local. I don't spend much time at all at full throttle.

I will do scribe.....as long as there is someone else with me......it takes 2 people to do the board.....one to call the time and one to write the times. If I had not had Felicia with me, the board would have been a DISASTER!!!!!! It is a learning experience.......
