bell island
there is a new parking lot it pigeon forge. it was to be used for the new bell island center but that went under so the lot is not used. the lot is real big. so it might be something you guys might want to take a look at.

Thanks.
Poles, berms?
Pavement condition?
Pics?
Someone near PF needs to go take a look at it.

Re: bell island
pavment is new less then a year old and has never been used. it does have lights but should have plenty of room. sorry i don't have my camera left it in fla. but this would be a great spot lots and lots of room and where its at there is nothing around it.

Re: bell island
I have seen it. Pavement is awesome. I think we could work with the poles but not ideal. Anybody know who to contact? If it is Belle Island, the bank owns it. If it is Sevierville?

Re: bell island
I know who to contact about it. I'll inquire and send contact info over for a decision-maker if there is a remote chance. I think the city spent about $1.6M on the parking facility, IIRC.
Re: bell island
Making some headway on this.
It does look like an awesome site. There is a separate area that could accommodate parking and grid, as well as restricted entrance/exit to control traffic.
Lot is longer than it is wide. I'm guessing it is 1200' x 500', not including the parking/grid area, which is separated by islands. It's maybe 20% wider than the BMS drag strip parking area. There are light poles (similar spread as Pellissippi,) but no islands.
Someone call or PM me and I'll bring you up to speed. Got a contact with the mayor, but before I call him, I want to make sure I represent us accurately.
Thanks,
Tyler

Did you see the article in today's paper? One more possible site off the list.
