STU/STM Roll Call

Alright, with the smallness of size of STU, I'm considering running STM for the year in the hopes of being in a bigger class. Who else is planning to run either one? I'm hoping to bring out some new people and maybe get them in STM, as well. As for the tire requirement, is the width unlimited as long as it's treadwear 140+ (same as ST*)?

And for our neighboring regions, is our rule the same rule with TR's Tire and Chatt's STM classes...?

TR's tire class is a PAX class with Stock/Street Prep/Street Mod rules + the 140 treadwear rule. tire width is unlimited in STM though.

Yup. I'd be in TBSP, based on what I remember from last year. Sounds like I should assume *SP rules with 140+ treadwear tires for TR, then.

I will be running STM all year because the Z4 goes back in June and I'll be getting a new (to me) car halfway thru the year.

Marcus, our STM is ANYTHING can run as long as it's on 140+ tires.

I was told by someone in Nashville that their tire class was limited to 180 or 200 (don't remember which) treadwear. Maybe TR's 2009 tire class champ can tell us for sure.
