PCA Autocross School 6/12, and Autocross 6/13

PCA/Eurotech of Knoxville has the third round of the autocross series on Sunday June 13th at PSCC. Walk thru/registration/tech starts at 8.30 until 10.00am. First car off at 11 am. Course will be extra tight with plenty of first gear corners, just to tee off the current leader, John Brown, and give someone else a chance (just kidding JB!!) Pre-register by emailing me at jonathanfoulds@yahoo.com.

We also have a novice/beginners school on Saturday June 12th at PSCC. The school is similar to an Evolution school, which some of the PCA instructors have attended, but we do not profess to be as good as an ETR/SCCA Evolution school. We can say that novices and low to mid-time autocrossers have benefited from the school, and you will be able to gauge your improvement at the end of the day by means of a timed test course at the start and end of the day. We have 16 spaces, pre-registration is required, cost is $50.00 per person, with a $10.00 discount on the Sunday autocross if you attend the Saturday school. PCA members have precedence, but we will have available slots. Price is $50.00 and includes lunch/refrshments. Start time is 8am, 1 hour lunch, finish at 4.30pm. Tech/registration is 7.30-7.45 am. Looks like June must be an off month for autocrossers, as with our current pre-registration numbers, we would have to cancel our June 13th autocross. Don't want to do that. So, if you plan on attending, please email me at jonathanfoulds@yahoo.com. You know I was kidding about the first gear corners, right?!

well.... I wasnt gonna say nuthin,but that would scare off 90% of anyone thats autocrossed in the last 15 years or better..

20 yrs ago that was a "normal" course.. not anymore.

Lin and I will be there IM sure.

I'll definitely be at both, if they happen.

If you cancel the auto-x on the 13th, are you also going to cancel the school on the 12th?

It just depends on the numbers. We only need 10 people for the school for it to be a go. I will keep everyone posted.

As far as the autocross goes, there are a lot of people that show up without pre-registering, but with less than 10 pre-registering, and that includes JB and Lin above, then it doesn't make sense, plus its no fun. So, pre-register, and i'll keep you updated. A dozen more registrations, and its a go for the autocross.
