I need some "expert" advice. I looking for some high performance street tires for the Sky Turbo that will be reasonable for street use but still hook up on the Auto X . I 'll still be running and trailering R-comps for the important events but would like to have a good set that Icould drive to the events within a couple hundred miles and still be reasonable Quick. $$$ and/ or mileage is not a big factor. I would like 265 or 255 x 40 or so 18s.
Any thoughts from experience ? thanks Randy

Re: Suggestions for HP tires ?????
I'd go with the usual suspects... Toyo T1R, Potenza RE-11s, Dunlop Star Specs, Hankook RS-3s.
I've been a fan of the Specs and may try the RS-3s next.

+1 on the star specs.
They've been on the NSX for a half dozen autocrosses and two track weekends (driving to and from as well). They're good in the wet at full tread and very grippy for a street tire. I have no experience with the other offerings.

On a lighter car, I'd recommend Toyo R1Rs. Better grip in wet and dry with possibly a little sacrifice in longevity.
