WTB: 1st gen Mitsubishi Eclipse body parts

Post by MARKP »

Anybody have a good source for 1st gen Mitsubishi Eclipse parts? Specifically, probably looking for a driver side fender and mirror and other bits and pieces.

Mark, are you trying to create a genetically modified, hybridized, Pilsenstein's monster, mixed breed Mitsu/Suby abomination?

No, our 16 year old decided to take the right rear corner off a minivan last night. It could have been worse. The car is still perfectly drivable, it just looks bad now.

Sorry to hear it. I'll be facing that stuff in about 6 years.

16 year old! Dang! How old are you? Oh wait. I'm old enough to have a 16 year old too. :P

I was lucky when I was a teenager. I got to pay for all my own damage.

If you could have seen the look on my Dad's face when I drove home in what a few minutes before been a beautiful black Saab sedan with the roof and left side caved in, I suspect it was similar to the look on yours when you saw the Mitsu, that is after you knew your child was safe, of course. I am glad I don't have children. When my brothers and I did stuff like that, my mother would say "You just wait till you have children of your own". I think she meant it as a curse.

Me too, and so will he. No mirror is a safety issue, so that will get fixed quickly but he will be driving an ugly car until he gets the money together to fix the rest of it.
