Anybody looked at the site for I-75 motorsports in a while? I know I thought the operation was dead and the initial design was too simple/short (and I honestly don't know much about the capability of the owner to get it all finished and ready to race on) but they uploaded some new pictures of the site cleared out and the new outline of proposed pavement looks like it would be worth renting. It won't be a TGPR, but he said he was wanting to make it 20-25 feet wide, which would be plenty for cars on a relatively slow, technical circuit (if he creates enough runoff in areas needed).

I know its a long, long way from completion and we'll have some safety issues but if it would be worth running it a few times a year to give ourselves a break from PSTCC. He said he was open to having some ETR board members come down and take a look at the layout and give him an idea of what would be needed to make Solo events work there..

Re: I-75
I think there have been some discussions with the owner about this site, I know I've seen some info about it previously.
Re: I-75
Yup, there has been talks with the owner. He is doing it as money is available. He is not taking out loans that can cause it to go belly up if the payments can't be met. That is a good way to do it. Too many sites in the area have had great plans, but the money fell through, etc.
