Great location
Great organization
Just overall great. It seems the only thing that held us up was not "human" related, that pesky timing setup tried to kill our fun, but thankfully didn't succed.
I guess if one HAD to try and find something to improve upon, I suppose it might be nice to have a course(which todays would work), where you could get two cars on course. Even if it was for just 10 or 15 seconds of the run. But hey, we all got 6 runs on a 40+second course, so how you can you complain?!
Hats off guys, hope you welcome us back when next time rolls around.
I second what tony said.
I loved the course and the pavement liked my tires. The course was simple, fun and fast.
My only recommendation is better timing equipment (something that would allow sequential cars). Of course, you guys don't so this as much as us ETR guys.
Maybe the PCA and SVT clubs could get together and spring for one....with the ETR timing eqipment we could have had a 20 second overlap for the cars on course.
Great event PCA!

I think the fast cars were turning some low low 40's, with me, Davis, and Harp in the 38's, 39's and low 40's respectively.disneyd wrote:So, who wound up with FTD? What were some of the best times?
Pretty sure I coulda done a 37.9, if I coulda just found a way to hold 3rd gear through that little chicane right before the big arc around the lightpole. I tried and kept killing the drivers side exit cone.
I second everything that has already been said. That was great pavement, well organized, and a fast course. Two cars on course would have made things go faster, but that event went very quickly and smoothly as it was.
Hint hint: is there anyway would get some ETR events going at that lot (without stepping on PCA's toes, of course)?

Loved it Vic. Well organized, good pavement, good layout. One suggestion is that we need to have a different setup for the staging. Going down over the speed bumps and turning around to get in line did not work well. If we could have the staging up the side of the building instead it would work better I think.
Looking forward to the 16th & 17th of April. Two days of AX

All my thoughts have pretty much been mentioned above.
I loved site, I loved the course design (I really liked the "chicane"), the PCA people were friendly and welcoming, and the event went smoothly. It was one of those days that reminded me why I spend so much time and money on this hobby.

I tried to scribble down some results after the event. I did this pretty quickly just scanning down the board, so I apologize if I missed something/someone.disneyd wrote:So, who wound up with FTD? What were some of the best times?
1. Tony Bolton 38.3 or 38.4
2. Trey Davis 39.x
3. Chris Harp 40.0
4. Deems Riddle mid 40's
5. Jon Nam 40.9 (that car is freakin' beautiful!)
6. Matt Tomlinson 41.2
7. Peter Burman 41.3 (I think)
8. Steve Rife 41.3
9. Dave Disney 41.4
I think Steven Beck was mid-41's also.
