Clutch Extender

Post by MishL »

Hey Guys I need some help. I am possibly getting a Mazda Protege and it is a 5 speed. Being that I am vertically challenged, we are looking for an extender so that me and Chris can both drive the car. anyone have any ideas or know of somehwhere to start?

http://www.pedalextenders.com/ is the only online dealer I've found that carries these. I saw a few that gave phone numbers and addresses (no web pages) if you're interested.

Here's a pic of one of their extenders

Thanks Will.

We saw that last night.

I think we are gonna see if she can handle it without one, she said the main promblem when trying to drive my wrx was that the pedal seemed hard to push.

if this clutch is as light as some VW's I've driven, there may not be an issue.

Oh yeah, the MSP is on its way. Only 1991 miles. Titanium grey. $16,998 w00t!!

I should hope so. I think she will enjoy auto x more now that the car is better.

People say it really doesn't matter, but that civic was a DOG! Worst AT evAr!

Plus four doors is good too.

It looked good, but they changed something since 98, when I had mine. Mine felt peppy, hers did not. Anyway, not an issue now.

Hey guys, take a look at these.

Does anyone think that they could fabricate one for us out of aluminum?

I would probably buy a nice sparco pedal or something to put on there, instead of a goofy black one.

Here is a schematic.

Let me know if you have any suggestions, ideas, or are able to help.

We would like to work on one ASAP

Thanks
