I just noticed that the schedule shows pts events on back to back days .....Driving To Make A Difference II on Sat the 24th and event #8 on Sun the 25th... is this correct ?

Sat and Sun events! Wow!!!!! Would be like a mini national at two locations-plus points for both. We need to go for this cause it just make for a more fun weekend.....2 locations and diff pavement on back to back days. The out of town guys and gals would have spent for the hotel already.

Just FYI - Saturday 9/24 is the same day as the Run to The Hills VII Autocross at Smokies Stadium. Not that these events cater to the same clientel, but there will be 2 autocross events in the area on the same day.

If there is a provision to just do one day of the ETR event, that will be great. I'm planning on running RTTH on Saturday, ETR on Sunday if the car is running and co-operates.

I don't think that would be a problem, as these are seemingly seperate events.

Personally, it looks like all my Saturdays are tied up this fall.

averaging 65 mph at 5 hours: 325 miles
divide by 30 (mpg estimate of hwy+ax miles): 10.83 gallons of gas
times gas prices @3.80+ for premium: $41.16

Get a hotel for the same cost and save yourself the hassle!
