So, lets just say a "friend" of mine may want to get an A-X car,and liked Mazdas. Which RX8 is the PREMO choice as far as weight and suspensions. STOCK CLASS CAR

Driver fail - not the cars' fault they were driven by complete morons.

Google RX8 engine replacement - I understand they have (had) some reliability issues.

From what I recall, there isn't much difference weight wise between the base and the sport. Any higher package will have a sunroof. I think the 06's also gained some weight. I've also heard but don't know that they had a lot of issues worked out with the 05's.
Of course I may be a little biased since I have an 05 sport for sale.
