Evolution will be holding an Evo Advantage Driving School at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, TN on Friday June 30th in conjunction with SCCA's Championship Tour event. This three hour Autocross Training program is great for any skill level, from complete novice to the seasoned veteran, and allows participants to get some great seat time and instruction before the weekends competition. The Evo Advantage typically nets participants a minimum of 15 runs with our team of National Caliber instructors.

7:00 am Site Opens
8:45 am Drivers Meeting (Mandatory)
9:15 am Instructed Sessions Begins

Yeah, and you get a priority line for the test and tune as well.

Just finished day one of the EVO school and it was awesome. I would highly recommend this for anyone. The instructors are great and the number of runs you get is amazing.

The phase 2 was awesome as well. Conditions were less than perfect. Cones were so cold and hard that I put a small crack in the front splitter. It's repairable with some heat and touch up paint though.

Please tell us you were using the RE71 tires in those conditions.

Yep, RE71. They had just been flipped....you know...for better snow performance.

Probably like any tire at 32 deg and wet....slippy. Constant managing of front end grip. But, it was good to get to practice rotating the car from an understeer situation to turning using the throttle.

That looks awful. I'm usually pretty jealous when others get to do a school. Not so much this time.

Yeah, hard to do when it's a 3.5 hr drive and it's $265.

Also, I needed to wet practice, really.
