Im surprisingly not too upset about missing all the Major events this year....
I despise running in rainy conditions... always have.

The biggest bummer is that it absolutely kills things socially.

I bet Falkens in the wet on concrete won't be too horrible unless that site puddles real bad. At least you won't have to spray
Car was pretty fun in the wet in Lincoln last year, honestly.
I wish I had a little more tread on what I was driving out on, but not enough to add a set to the budget for early season rain events.
Rain at a pro is pretty exciting because anything can happen.

Yes it did. The conditions today we're back and forth between a slightly wet cause and a dry one. Not sure which one that had in the group.

Frustrating weather and I was super salty about it before driving today. Thank you Jeff for renting out the car again! Arnold and I really enjoyed it.

I was in the announce car for 2nd drivers. Rhode and Neilson were 2nd drivers and probably had favorable conditions. Light drizzle. It was raining a bit earlier, but I was in paddock and not sure if that impacted Whitener, McElvey, Hughes, etc.
I'll say this. I went down to Hunstville last week and Brett Hudson in that same car PAX'd Randall, Charles Krampert, etc.

Anyway...
Drive - It is a little farther from Knox than Dixie/Peru/Blytheville. However, it is a pretty easy drive. Not a lot of traffic past Nashville.
Courses - A little small, but courses were good pro courses, imo. Woulda been fun if we'd gotten 12 runs in the dry.
Paddock/Site - Layout sucks.
Grenada hospitality - A+. I'll go back just because how they treated us. They had a hospitality building, they gave us a grab bag. City manager and chamber of commerce member spoke to us at the welcome party. I was grabbing food and I thanked the servers and they all were like, "NO! Thank you for coming."
For the event. Weather sucked and that was draining. Combine that with how busy things are at a pro, and it wasn't a very fun social event. When the weather is bad, I REALLY struggle with focusing.

Sounds like an event Im glad my car wasn't ready for..
Im at the point that unless I'm high in a points race.. 30% chance of rain or below 60 degrees is a total deterrent to me. It's just not fun to me.
Us East Coasters are really getting the FU in dry events lately...

Shows Whitener won in the final results.
DNF on the last M3 run.

^^^And that's why all results announced on Solo Matters are unofficial.

Sounds like it was a clean run and he didn't get slowed enough to go on the proper side of the wall past the finish.
