FWIW:

Johnson City is having their "Blue Plum Festival" the same weekend. Which for those of you who choose to stay is a good thing. They close downtown streets and usually have some good bands and cold beers. I recommend it and usually take the whole family for a good time.

Again, this event is in my neck of the woods. I can help in any capacity. I can co-chair, set-up....whatever. Post or PM me with an assignment.

Robert, your help during setup would be much appreciated. Can you run timing at all?

Chris,

Yes. I can run timing. As long as the drivers class and car numbers are entered and the software is up and running. No problem. I will also be there early to help setup. I want to give back to all you Knoxville guys that have helped me over the years. Just tell me what time you want me there!

Unless there is now a fence all the way around and it is locked, we would not want to leave cones there. Cones have legs (even without JB, ROC, or CB around and they only walk a little then, not disappear).

That lot has a bunch of poles you will need to work around.

Americourt is the one that I posted. The only reason that I posted that one is that the owner is a client. I have never seen the rooms or know any one that stayed there. There is a motel that is closer its only about 2 blocks from the sight. I Live about 2 miles from EHS, let me know what I can do. The gates that allow entrance where the cars were gridded last time are supposed to be open. I could check and see if the trailer could be left there over night Fri. the janitor is to be instructed to open the bath rooms by the running track. The Principal is contacting school groups regarding concessions. If rain is not a issue, one could lay the cones out, chalk them then remove the cones. I can help on Friday. I have been hinting around with my wife about a few guys staying at our house, she will be coming back from BMW 101 and may drive the event but she will not commit to keeping any one.

I am sending you an email. It is big and should be there shortly.

That lot sorta requires a tight slow course. That painful section in the SW corner is so we could us extra area around a light pole.

If you have trouble with the email, call me and I will strip off the video.

Compared to some of John's latest creations, Walters' State, and the last Chattanooga event, EHS will be slow.
