I wish I was able to go, but nit this year.

Like Ted has stated.. If you're on the fence.. Go. Competition aside, it's a great, fun experience and you'll meet allot of really cool people.

And there's even autocrossing going on.

What days do people think they will be traveling? I'd kinda not like to drive out by myself.

Ideally, by like 5 or 6 AM. It depends on how we feel. If we can get on the road that early, we can probably make the whole way if I can get baby bear to drive some. If we start getting on the road at 7 or 8 ish, i think it becomes a "stop after st louis" trip

Jed and I left out really early last year and got there at 6 or 7. It went really well. We had the time and energy to walk the course, go eat at Merle's, have a few drinks, and come back to the site and change tires and hang out.

The times that I've made the whole drive and got there after dark were pretty brutal.

This year, I'd debating either doing the whole drive Saturday, splitting up over Saturday and Sunday, or doing the whole drive Sunday. I'm doing the Evo on Monday and am debating if I want another session that morning or maybe even on Sunday.

I used to drive straight thru.. Leave at midnight and get there in the afternoon, but that was before I towed out. Now, I leave in the morning and just take my time, but pushing it too much. Breaking out up over two days just is more relaxing.
But having two drivers that can swap it makes it allot easier to drive straight thru

Leave at midnight? I'd probably hit a bridge abutment and die before I got to the 40/75 split.
