FYI for those coming to Elizabethton. 24 miles from Elizabethton is a mini version of the Dragon, its called The Snake. Once at the Country Store in Shady Valley one can drive 421 to Mountain City. A web site to check out is www.shadyvalleycountrystore.com.

Run priceline for a hotel in JC with 2.5 stars. You should be able to get something nice for not much money.
