STM at Bristol Match Tour
Re: STM at Bristol Match Tour
Honetly even at .848 no one in stm would probably make the shootout either, except maybe Dave Disney's car or Bradley's car.

An unofficial shootout, however, would probably be worth the drive.
That's not how a Match Tour works. You're guaranteed at least 5 runs in two sessions on Saturday and another 2-3 runs on Sunday morning or 7-9 runs total. Pax only matters for Shootout qualifying. The top 8 on index from each heat Sunday morning qualify for the Super Shootout, 9-16 qualify for the Club Shootout. Everybody else can put their name in for a random drawing for the Bonus Shootout, which can have up to 16 competitors. So if there are four heats, there are 32 drivers in the Super Shootout, another 32 in the Club Shootout and up to 16 in the Bonus Shootout. Your dial in time for the Shootouts will be determined by your raw time from qualifying. If you beat your raw time and win your round, your new dial in will be that time.
The two sessions on Saturday and the session Sunday morning will count for ETR points. I'm not sure if that's best time or the sum of the fastest runs in each session. That's definitely not one or two runs and then out.

2-3 minutes of seat time on Sunday isn't worth a 1.5 hour drive for me. If Sunday runs will count toward local points, I'm sitting this whole event out. No worries! Everybody can't be happy all the time, and I'm glad ETR is hosting a Match Tour this season.dewittpayne wrote: Lucas,

So.....will it be a power course?

Re: STM at Bristol Match Tour
For this event it will have 30 pace slalom and with the lot as big and usable it will not be any where near the polls courses as we have more room at BMS for a big flowing course.
