I'd like to thank all the chiefs and workers for yesterday, the event went very smoothly even with 104 entrants and oppressive heat (and the fact the Camaro was able to start in the heat). Big thanks to JY for setting up a fun course. Thats actually the first time I've really had fun at one in a couple of years, see you all in September.

When we have to go uphill there, keep yesterday's course in mind. That entrance to the uphill was as good as it has ever been and was very safe.

BTW, we had 100 people drive yesterday, not 104. A few registered but didn't run.

I think we should CAP Pilli at 75. First 75 gets in. 10 on stand by. up the event entry to $25 for members.

Thanks to everyone for putting on such a great event. I apologize for the red flag. For some reason, the clutch pedal compressed and did not come back up. Ben didn't have any idea what to try after he looped it. Thanks to all those who pushed the car back to the paddock. I checked the fluid level and hydraulic lines. I forced the pedal up and it corrected itself. The kid learned a lot and is soaking it all up like a sponge. That is the most important thing (well that and getting about 12 seconds off his times). We had a great time.

What have you been paying John Brown cause the entry for members is 25.00.....audit time for entry member named John Brown for the last 2 years as the club may be able to buy a big concrete site if JB would pay up what he owes....lol

102 - AxWare doesn't consider a DNF a timed entry, but two drivers DNF'd all runs.

was one a BMW Z4 ?

BTW! Thanks cross-over workers for all that advanced warning as to the car dead at the finish corner as I approached thru the salom at 60 mph.

Yeah, that is a really critical part of the lot at Pellissippi. I am pretty sure the guy that was working crossover had never done it before and was also somewhat doing/learning sound. The Crossover and corner chiefs need to be the more experienced in the club for sure. The slowest person on track with one of the fastest on track, start should have held out a bit longer before letting you go.

I couldn't flat foot the first slalom until the pavement change towards the end of it. It's hard to accelerate when all your tires are up in the air. I have to change driving lines to suit the bumps. Think I may have a touch of whiplash too.. :? It was looking like Eric was going to beat me for a lil while. The brakes and clutch worked MUCH better Sunday. Thanks again to everyone who had to push start me the previous event. Made some other changes so I can push start it easier myself.

Cody, I have to find 6 seconds out there. I'm still on the hard R60A tires so there is some speed right there. But still, not sure the bumps, sealed pavement and goose poo will allow me to find all those seconds. Try what John recommends, I love the balance his car has.

thanks to everyone who made the event happen.
