Is anyone driving to and from events on the Bridgestone RE71R's and if so are they wearing significantly more than normal?

Lots of folks do this. Obviously street driving has a heat cycle impact as well as a tread depth impact, but your going to notice the autocross impact more. If you do a full season, don't expect much more than 4000 miles out of them plus your autox runs.

Didn't we get about 160 runs out of our first set of RE71r's? You remember how many road miles were on them? i now not much since we were trailering

RX8s are pretty easy on tires. Mustangs, not so much. [emoji2]

We got 121 runs out of a set, plus about 3000 miles. They still were useable, but past their prime.

I've seen virtually no wear from driving mine to and from events.

I put my autox tires on the week before the first event and leave them on as my daily driver tires until I take them off in late November with rubber still available. I usually buy a new set at the start of every season except this year. I'm trying the Nexgen SR4 tires I bought late last year got 4 events from last year and will get a full season this year 9/32 TD still has plenty of tread left but they are not as good as my RE71 so far.
