Post by joe henslee »

We have ETR drivers attending the Road Atlanta Majors(National) & VIR SARRC/ECR(Regional) events this weekend. Looking at the weather, VIR drivers might need winter tires on Sunday.........burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr************* :lol2: 8) 8) 8)
Best of luck to all. Color side up my racing friends

I might be going down to hang out with East TN Race Prep, not 100% yet. I am going to be there next weekend with NASA

Multiple podiums for ETR members at Road Atlanta Majors & VIR Regional.
ROAD ATLANTA / Gary Johnson: F Prod BMW Z3 (still in ITA 1.9 config) - 3rd SAT & 3rd SUN. Not too shabby for an IT car at MAJORS in Prod!!! CONGRATS Gary
VIR /Leland Parker: Improved Touring 7 1st Gen RX7 - 1st SAT & 1st SUN. Nice start fresh out of the box ..... CONGRATS Newbie 8)
Others in attendance were Dick Hancock in his ITA Miata, Matt Daniel in his ITS 240SX....first time every at VIR and turning lo 20's  , Lee Graser in his ITA / STL Miata....running below track record on Friday test day  , Rob Garrison in his F Prod Miata, Clint Olson in his IT7 1st Gen RX7, and Stan & Shawn Hinds in there IT7R(Renisis). Will update others results as I become aware.

I too had a great time. First official race weekend could not have gone better. The weather was cool but much better than forecasted. Thanks to Joe for all the help in getting to this point; I wouldn't be on-track without you. Thanks to Stan, Shaun, and Clint for the support and allowing me to share your paddock; had fun and hope we'll be on-track together next time. Thanks to Lee, Rob, and Matt for all the support, advice and sharing the track with a newbie. And thanks to all for the camaraderie of an excellent race weekend.
I encourage everyone to shake-off winter, dust-off your equipment and come out for the next race. See you on the track.
