Give the 4/0 a try if they are made. I would love to have one. 3/90 and I can run 120 plus interstate but 4/10 85 comf.and at 5200 rpm. Sucks.

I have a new idea every few days, but I've had the idea to pick something up to play with as a street car and maybe run at Smokies events. I don't really get a lot out of running the ES car there and don't really want to drive someone else's car on that lot.

So just asken from all the miata peeps, the 4/10i n 92 NA sorta sucks. Yea it goes quick but when in travel mode is not fun. Is NB trans swap the deal or what? But I do like both wheels pulling.

If you care about STS, you can't legally swap that stuff.
Anyway, I think the 1.6 cars have a 4.3 FD and the 1.8 5 speed cars are 4.1 FD. I can't imagine any kind of tranny/gear swap being worthwhile on a stock'ish n/a 1.6 liter.
