Looking for a trustworthy/reasonable shop to look at the clutch/transmission in Ol Crowd Control. Ive reached out and gotten a couple recommendations, but wanted to get feedback from folks. Personal experience with the shop is preferred.

TIA!

Don't know if you want to go that far but there is one in Oak Ridge that has a very good reputation. Jeff knows the name. I dealt with them a few times and was very happy with them.

Ryan I feel the car does have a clutch issue, Started out with normal feeling pedal then very hard pedal with no gear engagement. Car ended up at a transmission shop on Magnolia Ave. He found the pivot in bell housing broke. (rodericks ) He got a used bell housing and charged a lot. Car shifted good for a few weeks. Then went to hard pedal and no gear engagement. I put in a Ford Motorsport (after I found stock pedal parts broke) Pedal kit. it worked for a few weeks then hard pedal and no gears.Car parked afterwards. Research the engine and the trans types that go with it and look at an aftermarket bell housing. I tried the adjustable cable and all no real fix , justa few days. I think disc might be backwards (just guessing) I never checked as I did not install the clutch.

It's fixed...for now. :P

Ended up being a clutch cross bar and a bad shifter cable. SO glad it didnt need a rebuild!! It's nice when a repair ends up being a lot LESS than was expected.
