No, just from the event itself. Day one is when you win your class/contingency. As it sits, it's just bragging rights. I mean, I think you can win a $40 certificate to go to another MT if you win a shootout but if you do win, you'll have burned more than that $40 in tires.

Don't get me wrong, the shootouts are fun and can be intense, so in my eyes there should be something on the line for doing well in one.

The certificate I won in the Underdog Shootout was good for the whole entry fee for a Champ or Match Tour. That's a bit more than $40, more like $90-110. That still doesn't match the tire wear factor, though.

Maybe part of it, but most people prefer the champ tour format. Match is way better than it used to be, but they keep trying to screw with it and sometimes you don't get all 6 runs on day 1.

I could be wrong but I think Charlotte is the only one that didn't get 6. That was only due to the large number of competitors they were trying to run through due to the screw up on the cap.

Everyone on this list is now in and I will hold 5 more spots till June 6th and then those will be gone and the cap for the champ tour has been bumped up to 300 and this is looking like a very big time event and a lot of folks at spring nats were talking about it and looking forward to it as well and that is because of you all the etr folks and that makes me very proud to be a member of this region!

Are we still holding match to 200? 300 champ is going to make a busy two days.

Match has 194 when I just checked, so yup 200 and sups say 300 on champ tour.

Match is 200 and Champ is 300 on the cap.

Nevermind, the cap went up and both Kieran and I are in for the Champ Tour.

I wondered if y'all had other family plans for the 4th. I was thinking of bumping to A Mod for the champ tour so somebody could get tires. But I need to run with y'all to see how far out to lunch I am.

Yeah, we're not going to be here for the Match Tour on a family trip, but we'll be back for the Champ.

Tomorrow is the deadline on the last 3 spots for the match tour and if you are wanting to get in on this event and you are an etr member, I need to hear from you by noon on June 6th or they will be open to the other waitlist people.
