It was a pretty good course and I know I hit cones at that same point that JB is talking about as it was hard to carry any speed in that area and not hit that last outside cone, but all in all a good design and it flowed better than I thought it would while walking it. Those braking zones would bite you if you overdrove into the corner. Randy and Jim were hauling a$$ in the evening with getting in the 54.xxx's. Good job by all etr peeps that went.

It was good to have abs working again as I will always have a spare front and rear abs speed sensor from now on in the trailer. Now it's time to start getting the car ready for fort myers pro in March....

I ended up with FTD in a borrowed car (52.5 something) that takes more mental bandwith than my car.

I have NEVER shifted so much.

It made things MUCH more challenging and rewarding when you got it right....but I gained a whole new respect for the BSP Mazdaspeed Guys.

That section by the ditch was a blur to me.....the only thing I was thinking while I was coming up through there was "dont blow the finish, dont blow the finish"

Melting wheel speed sensors is not what I would call a good recommendation for Wilwood brakes. My mechanic had Wilwood rotors break twice on his very competitive NASA American Iron S197, leading him to switch to StopTech. And your car is heavier than his. You can go too light.

They're unlikely to break on an autocross run. Braking from 150 mph is going to put a lot more strain on the rotors than from 60 mph. But if you're melting wheel speed sensors, the rotors are getting way too hot. Is brake ducting legal in ESP?

If you don't have an IR thermometer, I keep one in my car.

Track was fun and challenging. Really needed to find rhythm through the offsets. We changed suspension package during lunch and went from our “ Bristol “ setup to our “Peru” setup and really found the grip we were looking for. Felt we left a second on course.
