I'll start off by saying it - I'm a dumbass.

I knew there was an event this weekend (I of course saw it was the 18th but assumed it was a Sunday as always), and I spent Saturday morning changing the oil in the Camaro and putting the mufflers back on. Of course when I finished I see on Facebook the following: "2 hrs ago - course set up for walking - with a picture of folks walking the course." I don't think I was the only one judging by the comments. Called my baby sitter for Sunday and cancelled.

For those of us too stupid / sleep deprived to properly read a calendar, can we get some kind of general email blast and or announcement on the board that says "hey dumbass, this weekends race is on SATURDAY not Sunday" when we break our longstanding Sunday schedule in the future? Thanks.

I think our only other Saturday event is the August 17th one at Smokies.

The reason I caught that it was a Saturday is that I was looking for Saturday events in particular a few weeks earlier and saw a lot of events a day later than our event on MSR.

If I'm sharing anything, I'll try to post a reminder.
