ECS or Michelin PS4S on whatever wheels you have plus a tire trailer and a set of the biggest Rivals you can fit on some other wheels.

I would go re71r for daily driving and use in the rain and if the Yokohama is a durable tire and wears decently I would do the Yokohama or the bfg if it doesn't wear good.

If I were to go with two different sets of tires and swap at the track, I would just go with a dedicated track tire at that point. Since I added the roll bar, my interior space has dropped, not allowing me 4 wheels and tires to fit.

The trailer option, which I did buy a hitch in prep for such a plan, requires me to change my exhaust, which I am reluctant to do.

Ok ok....money no object....Toterhome and double stacker. Buy another Camaro and you won't even have to change tires if it rains.

After more hours of researching, I decided to try the NT05s. 275s up front, 315s in the rear. That will come out to below $1000 after tax and mounting.

I'm also going to mount my good Kuhmo 275 on a spare wheel as my backup and take it with me to the track. I have room for one, but not four.

Got my new battery yesterday and am about half way with installing new wheel studs, spacers, calipers, and new front wheel bearings.

What front hubs are you using?

Installing Timken bearings right now with longer wheel studs. Im swapping out for added safety and age more than anything. The old ones didn't show concern or wear, but while I had the brakes off I decided to change them out.

I have Timkens on mine but rumor has it they don't last long with track or autocross use. I would bring at least one spare with you.

From what I hear, the best option is Stanoparts setup using SKF hubs made for C5 Corvettes and an adapter. That's an expensive setup, though.

Yeah, I saw that on his site but I didn't want to pay the extra. I talked with Sam Strano last month, I actually bought my spacers and studs through him. I'll give the timkens a shot and report back. New timkens have to be better than the stock GM units that were made 20 years ago and has 99k miles on them.

The GM ones weren't made in China though.

I've been reading this thread with quite a bit of interest. Sorry if I "hi-jacked" your conversation, but you have me thinking about the hubs on my C5. The car has 110K miles, and I'm positive they are original. Now I know that I don't put the stress on mine that you guys do, but all the same, should I be considering replacing them? Thanks for any and all advice.

When the 4gen Camaros were poplar in ESP, those cars ate hubs. My impression was that people felt junkyard hubs were more reliable than the Timken replacements.
