I have found a fox body that would be the prefect autocross and track slut. But I already have 13” race tires from my mod car. Has anyone ever seen 13” rims on a mustang. I googled it and found where I guy asked the same question and all the ford groups flamed him for days and no one answered the question. Thanks

I have never seen anything that small on any mustang and it would need to be geared totally different with that small a wheel.....

You must be a flamer if you want to run 13" wheels on a Mustang. Does that help?

In all seriousness, I have never seen an autocross Mustang on 13s but don't let that stop you. Have fun with it. You know, base model 65 Mustangs had 13" wheels and so did the "Pinto" Mustangs of the mid-70s.

The base model 1979 Fox bodies came with 13" wheels from the factory.

Apparently it has been done. Some of the old CP cars ran them. I am leaning towards SP if I get this car. So I will get some wide 15” and some A7’s. Run the 245 ones. I was going to build another mod car since mine is a street car now. But this fox body is cheap and optioned perfect for autocross. Factory LX trunk model with factory 5.0 and five speed. Full bolt on also. Should be a fun car to beat the crap out of. Lol
