Hi all,

Another newbie here signing up for the Autocross School in Bristol this weekend. I think I'm in STR class based on what I understand from the rulebook. I have an 04 Miata with aftermarket wheels/tires (15x8 +25 with 225/45 tires). No other mods.

I tried registering as Novice, but it requires me to select a PAX, and when I select a PAX it says I can't choose Novice. So I assume I should sign up as STR/STR. Does STR seem correct?

I can't help you on the registration part, but your car does sound correct in STR. Welcome!

When you register on site you can tell them to put you in the novice group.

If you're JUST doing the school on Saturday, it shouldn't make any difference about the novice or not, as there's really no classing going on @ the school

This really only matters if you're running SUNDAY for the event.

Good point Brian, I didn't pick up on that. So yes Novice is only a option for our event on Sunday not the school.
